Franco Library has several subscriptions to eBook collections to make accessing relevant texts on your area of study even easier. You can search for eBooks using some of the library databases linked below, as well as peruse some free digital library suggestions.

Cornell University Digital Library Collection A wide variety of digital materials.

Google Books Electronic books of all types - fiction, non-fiction, scholarly, textbooks, etc. Google Books also includes magazines.
Harvard University Digital Collections Unique historical virtual collections.
Internet Archive "Download free books and texts. The Internet Archive contains a wide range of fiction, popular books, children's books, historical texts and academic books."
Making of America - University of Michigan "A digital library of primary sources in American social history from the antebellum period through reconstruction. The collection is particularly strong in the subject areas of education, psychology, American history, sociology, religion, and science and technology. The collection currently contains approximately 8,500 books and 50,000 journal articles with 19th century imprints." Searchable and browsable.
