For a few databases, you will need to create a separate login from your Alvernia login/credentials. Instructions for how to create these accounts are detailed below.
The following databases require separate account creation to access.
Go to Chronicle.com for access. You will see the message "Site License Provided by Alvernia University" in the upper left of Chronicle web pages.
Go to Chronicle.com and Sign In to your account, if you already have one, for access. If you do not already have an account, follow these steps:

Select the “Sign Up” tab to create a free account using your alvernia.edu email address.
Activate your account by confirming your email address in the “The Chronicle: Confirm your email address” email.

Before accessing the ICE Learning Center, users will encounter the login screen pictured below:
Select 'Create Account' in order to get started.

You should have access to the full video library as well as the ICE Faculty Zone.
Login to Your RefWorks Account at the link below and click on the "Sign Up for a New Account" link. You must use your @alvernia.edu email address to create your account.
You will be able to access RefWorks from on or off-campus by using the Login Name and Password you created.
You may be asked for a group code, though you should not need to provide one as long as you use your @alvernia.edu email to create your account. If you must obtain the group code, please contact a librarian.
UpToDate is a clinical decision support resource designed for use at the point of care. The web-based program includes more than 12,400 searchable topics in 25 specialties, more than 220 medical calculators, and a select drug database and drug interactions tool that cover over 7,600 adult, pediatric, and international drug topics.
Students/faculty will need to be on-site to initially access UpToDate by going to www.uptodate.com and entering their university credentials via the Log In with Open Athens option from the UpToDate homepage.
Select Register for a new account (this is for users who do NOT currently have an UTD account) or Merge user accounts (for users who DO already have an UTD account) to complete the UTD registration page or enter in current UTD credentials.
Once a user has created an UTD account or merged a previous one, the user can then download and login to our UTD mobile app and/or can access UTD remotely/off-site.
