Alvernia University students, faculty, and staff can request books and articles not available at Franco Library through our Interlibrary Loan service.
Materials requested through Interlibrary Loan often arrive in a few days, but may take 2 weeks or more to obtain.
You will be notified via email when the item arrives.
There is generally no charge for requesting books or articles from other libraries.
Note: The library is unable to borrow textbooks or course materials currently used in classes because this may violate copyright law.

Can't find the book you need? There are several options for requesting an item.
Use our Interlibrary Loan form to request a book.
Before requesting a book, check the Library Catalog to make sure the library does not have a print or electronic copy of the title.
When completing the Tipasa ILL form, make sure you select the form for the correct item format (options include article, book, or non-print).
