Procedure for Requesting a Library Session

To schedule an information literacy session, contact the Reference and Instruction Librarian. Please contact us at least a week in advance to request your session. Librarians are regularly available 7:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Librarians can teach weekend and night classes, but may require longer advance notice to adjust staff schedules.

Procedures for Requesting the ILC

Contact a librarian at least a week in advance to schedule an information literacy session with a librarian. The table below lists the best person to contact based on the time of the class.

  1. Each librarian will use Ad Astra to schedule classes. Availability for an information literacy session is based on the first person seeking a particular time slot.
  2. If the Library ILC is unavailable at the requested time, an alternate date/time may be chosen or arrangements made to provide an information literacy session in another computer classroom.
  3. Contact the Registrar's Office to schedule the room during finals week.
